My research interests span a wide range of chemistry
from organometallic chemistry to material chemistry.
In paticular, I have been working on synthesis and physical
properties of a transition metal on transiton metals
containing liquid crystals (metallomesogens) as well
as the model studies of catalytic hydrodesufurization
(HDS) of thiophene analogues. Other research interests
include molecular mechanics studies and X-ray structural
studies of organometallic complounds by using X-ray
crystallography with CCD area detector system.
